Bunny for City College

HI THERE. I’M DOCTOR BUNNY.

Budget reflects values. I’ve seen it time and again. And you must also balance operational needs with forward-thinking capital investments that ensure the long-term success of your institution.

A good budget process starts way in advance with deep planning side-by-side with impacted communities. It also involves transparency and trust-building.

If you lay the groundwork, a future disagreement can be less contentious. But if your decision-making happens in a vacuum, doesn’t reflect community voices, and isn’t transparent, you’ll face opposition.

At an educational institution as important as this, I’ll weigh carefully how each decision affects students in both immediate, direct ways and indirect or more subtle ways.

And of course, I’ll prioritize decisions that increase enrollment, because that’s going to be key to building back the College our wonderful city deserves.

CAMPAIGN PLATFORMS

FREE CITY

It’s some of the best work our City has done, and voters have already made it clear they want to protect it.

In today’s political climate, it’s more important than ever to protect voter decisions from those who would prefer to have a silent population so their rich friends can throw caution to the wind.

HOLISTIC EDUCATION

Our students aren’t just numbers on a page.

We should treat them as important voices in the discussions of their future.

If we invest in our students, it will pay dividends.
